My daughter is only 4, but I really think the Lord has blessed me with a mature girl who will serve the Lord in great ways as she grows. Today, I took the girls from my study out for doughnuts and had our discussion at the doughnut shop. I originally planned to take one of A's friends with us so that that she could have someone to play with, but that didn't work out. I was so proud of my daughter... She helped me do my ministry by being content on her own. I mean seriously for two hours as we discussed, she looked through a magazine at another table and I don't even really know what she was doing, but she was so content doing whatever it was that she was doing. In the middle, I called her over and told her how well she was doing and told her if she kept it up that she would get to go on rides afterward. And no kidding the whole time, she stayed at the other table doing something with that magazine, she had a pen, so who knows, but she was soooo good. So of course I kept my word and took her to go on a ride... She was so excited to go on this robot ride. I love my daughter!!! She definitely is a gift from God...
