our job as future counselors is to instill hope in people... hope in their situation... hope in their future... hope... but i struggle... if ethically i cannot share Jesus... where is there hope without Jesus. i'm just telling them they could do it all on their own... but they can't. they need Jesus. Lord as i wrestle with this, let me see how you are going to use me in all this... i want to be bold in truth, i want to share Christ, the only hope in life, i don't want to live in fear... but there has to be a balance somewhere in all this right?? my heart is heavy with the task set before me...

you see as i study hard to be a counselor and i learn all the rules of dos and don'ts and what i'm supposed to in a session... i think of this... how we are to be the light of the world... that means in my office as well. as i see clients... i am to be the light. Lord teach me on how to do that... your truth should not be hidden no matter what laws say or what persecutions may come with... not that we should not respect that, but you are above all that... and as i press into you... i pray that i will have wisdom and discernment to be your light led by the spirit that lives in me.
