A and i are living with a great couple from our fellowship. also in the house is a single girl from our fellowship. she's my age (R) and is a teacher here in our city. anyway the other night, the three of us, R, A and i went shopping. on the way home from shopping, A started to talk about her daddy. in the midst of that discussion, R mentioned that her daddy was in heaven too. we talked about how they were friends up there and that maybe they were playing together. her eyes lit up in a different way. i think it made her feel better that someone else's daddy was also there.
then this morning A woke up and came to my room. she said, "daddy in heaven.... (pause) R daddy in heaven too." i was so proud that she was understanding all that.
she is definitely talking more about him and wanting to see pictures and stuff. there is a picture she has for when she sits in her car seat.
